Systematic steering brings great added value, especially to smaller markets in a. hartrodt's management structure. Kit Morris has been pursuing this goal since April of this year as Regional Process Manager for the French Europe region with 75 employees in Belgium, France and Switzerland. Three different cultures that have worked differently until now pose a "process challenge" in Zurich for the 30-year-old. But the Australian, who most recently optimized processes for the 2032 Olympic Games in Brisbane, likes a sporty approach. "It's important to implement transparent processes," he emphasizes.
Wide experience in transportation infrastructure projects
Kit Morris has a Master's degree in International Relations from the University of Queensland in Brisbane. A diploma from the International Freight Forwarders Association Fiata certifies his profound specialist knowledge. Since 2018, he has worked as a project manager for various companies in the transportation infrastructure sector. "A very demanding job, but you never see the outcome," he says, explaining his change to a. hartrodt.
Rugby player wants everyone on the team to have equal rights
As Regional Process Manager, Kit Morris often travels to Hamburg, Basel, Antwerp and Lyon to roll out the corporate strategy in the region with standardized processes. In this newly created position, the keen rugby player is supporting the regional implementation of the CargoWise One (CW1) supply chain platform. Like his favorite sport, this only works as a team, so he wants to "involve every operational employee as an equal". His approach: If everyone "works in a more structured way", this sets energy free for high-quality service. He believes that transparency is key to meeting customer needs even better in the future.
Kit Morris involves his family in his professional decisions as his father also worked in logistics. Because of his Swiss wife, he moved to Zurich, where he wants to learn fluent German.
